Land Acknowledgment

"If we wonder often, the gift of knowledge will come." – Arapaho tribe

At Wild Crescent Forest School, we appreciate and honor Indigenenous cultures. We acknowledge that the land in which we gather and explore is the original territory of the Ute, Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes. We thank them for their strength and resilience in protecting this land, and aspire to uphold our responsibilities according to their example. We express our gratitude for these people and their ways of life. The way they view and treat Earth and all its inhabitants inspires us in our daily lives. We are committed to supporting Indigenous-led grassroots movements and campaigns. Please reach out if you know of any ways we can help or ideas to which we can bring our services to.

We intend to inspire others to acknowledge the land in which they reside. Please use this great resource as a reference: https://native-land.ca/
